Connie zealously protects the interests of her clients in divorce, custody and other family law matters. She has special experience in helping clients and other attorneys in dividing retirement assets in divorces, including ERISA-qualified assets such as pensions and 401(k) plans, other retirement accounts and executive compensation plans.  She has broad experience in obtaining Qualified Domestic Relations Orders, or QDROs, a court-ordered division of qualified retirement assets that ensures a fair division of the retirement accounts accumulated by one or both spouses in a marriage in compliance with ERISA and the Tax Code.
Prior to becoming a family lawyer, Connie practiced complex civil litigation with an Atlanta firm, representing clients in a wide range of matters in federal and state courts in many jurisdictions. Connie’s broad legal experiences, combined with her solution-oriented approach to the practice of family law,   benefit clients facing complex adversarial matters.
