Abigail L. Wheeler is an associate attorney at Eittreim Martin Cutler, specializing in the areas of divorce and family law. Abigail is a life-long learner and prioritizes ensuring that her clients understand the complexities of the law and aiding them in navigating family court. Abigail’s compassionate nature and dedication drives her practice, and she works to creatively solve the problems presented.
Abigail is a Georgia girl through and through. She was born and raised in Atlanta where she graduated from The Paideia School before attending Georgia College & State University where she received degrees in both Criminal Justice and Psychology. Abigail first began working in the legal field in college, in an internship in the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office led to a role as a Victims/Witness Court Services Advocate. In this role, she discovered her passion for helping others in times of need and working as an advocate. Abigail then attended Mercer University School of Law where she was a member of the legal honor society, Phi Delta Phi. She was also a member of the Association of Women Law Students, and she worked as a Teaching Assistant for first year criminal law students. Abigail spent her summers in the Bibb County Courthouse, clerking for Judges in both Criminal and Civil courts. In her last year of law school, Abigail was an inaugural member of the Mercer University School of Law Domestic Violence Clinic, where she was sworn in under the third-year practice act and represented victims of domestic violence in Temporary Protective Orders before the Bibb County Superior Court. Prior to joining Eittreim Martin Cutler, Abigail worked at a small family law firm in Buckhead.
In her free time, Abigail enjoys reading, cooking, and watching sports – namely Football and Formula One.
